Playa del Sol Costa Sur offers another choice for anyone who loves Puerto Vallarta and wants to explore one of the most beautiful areas of Banderas Bay. The resort’s location is at the gateway to the beautiful south shore where jungle covered mountains plunge directly into the Bay. The coast road leads to Mismaloya where “The Night of the Iguana” was filmed and then to Boca de Tomatlan, a small fishing village where you can take a power boat to any of the beautiful beaches in the roadless area along the southern edge of the Bay. For more urban pleasures, the resort is just ten minutes from the “Malecon” center of Puerto Vallarta, but is known for its sense of seclusion and tranquility. For shopping or dining, many guests enjoy hopping on one of the buses that stop in front of the resort for a 40 cent ride to town. Cabs are also available at any time.
With the addition of Costa Sur, Playa del Sol Costa Sur now offers access to all of the best and most varied beach locations on the Bay of Banderas: the original Playa del Sol on Los Muertos Beach, Romantic Zone. |
